Meet’n’Eat: Gigglewaters is an undiscovered hidden gem

Gigglewaters is the best burger place I’ve ever tried

Gigglewaters is celebrating burger week with amazing meals. Located in downtown Safety Harbor, it’s a place known for its astounding burgers, sandwiches, social club and bar.

The building’s outside is pretty unexciting. There are two white tents with a sitting area under the tents outside and a few flower pots around it. It’s just there, it doesn’t match with its style compared to the inside building.

When entering the building, you’re immediately greeted with a 1900’s vibe. The burgundy red walls and a black ceiling make everything stand out and blend very well.

Classic music is also playing lightly in the background and pictures of famous actors/artists hanging on the wall. String lights and black roses wrap around each picture too. Mini chandeliers hang on the ceiling as well as light bulbs that surround the bar. The inside has a decent amount of room, but the bar mostly takes up space.

Gigglewaters not only gives a welcoming vibe, but the people are dressed old-fashioned. They’re wearing aprons with red suspenders attached, which I thought was so cute and creative. I’ve never seen anything like that before, I really like how they try to stuck with that same old school vibe.

I decided to order the Giggle Burger. It’s a sauteed onion housemade pimento cheese-based sandwich grilled on garlic toast and onion tanglers. The burger comes in a plastic container drowning in cheese. The onion tanglers were unbelievable. They were very crunchy and not greasy at all. You can tell they took time and put effort into the meal.

The burger itself is very filling. The lightly grilled garlic toast and meat covered in cheese is mind-blowing. Everything comes together extraordinarily, and it is the best sandwich I’ve ever tried in my life. You’d think the cheese is overwhelming, but it’s not. Everything just melts in your mouth. It is a bit messy though, you have to keep it from falling apart because there’s so much cheese.

They have a variety of burgers to choose from. For example, The 1919 Burger, which is an old fashioned homemade bourbon bacon jam that has swiss cheese bacon strips and onion tanglers. They also have The Big Kahuna, The Giggle Melt, The Meat Wagon, etc.

They do not only serve burgers, but also comfort foods. Sections on the menu include the famous chickens, giggle dogs, signature popcorn and brunch. I adore how they have many different names for categories and the food itself. They have their own names, style, and originality.

Gigglewaters is now my favorite place to eat. The energy, style and food are just amazing. It’s a good place to go to with your family or adults to drink and socialize. I rate this place a 10/10. Even though the outside may not look exciting and the place is a bit of a drive, the food overpowers everything. I’d drive the 30 minutes just to eat there again.
