Issue 1: Editors Letter

Anna Woodward, Editor-in-Chief

It’s hard to condense this issue into one letter. There is already so much that goes into producing a print newspaper, and those responsibilities became magnified this issue. We’ve had to adapt. Despite our adviser having to quarantine and not having access to our traditional workspace, we’ve worked hard to make this issue creative and informative.

That being said, I want to thank the entire staff and Ms. Oben for consistently pushing through on this issue, especially our Print Managing Editor Amelia Foster (’21). She has put so much work into this issue that I hope she takes a well-deserved self-care day soon.

I’m thankful that we have had the opportunity to continue publishing despite these circumstances. This issue is unlike any other we’ve produced, but I see that as a good thing. If anything, this issue has shown our staff we can get it done, no matter what.
