Midterms are just around the bend, and although we don’t like to admit it, this entails a lot of late-night study sessions. This easy to make Affogato drink is perfect for staying up to study at night, or to help kick start your day.

This drink serves 4 and is under 150 calories.

2 cups of vanilla ice cream/gelato

2 cups of hot espresso

ice cream scoop/spoon

Take out 4 small glasses (more if you increased the recipe)

Use the ice cream scoop/spoon to place a decent sized scoop of ice cream into each glass

Then pour 1/2 cup of hot espresso over the ice cream

Serve immediately

The drink was delicious! If you don’t like coffee, then you definitely won’t be a fan, but if you do (even just a little bit) this drink is sure to be a hit. The sweetest of ice cream mixes wonderfully with the bitterness of the coffee, not to mention the different temperatures create the absolute perfect mixture.
