If you passed Xtreme Juice on Dale Mabry yesterday, you were probably wondering why groups of people were lined up. The smoothie line was out the door and the line to see the exotic animal was even longer. It was “Hump Day” and  Xtreme Juice promoted Wednesday’s $1.00 Wheat Grass Shots by showcasing a live camel.

Pictures of teenagers with this camel were all over social networking with captions of this catchy phrase. “Hump Day” has also become trendy because of Geico’s commercial. Sophomore Andrea Vrionis was one of the teenagers that showed up because of the camel.

“It was a sight to see a live camel in the middle of South Tampa,” said Vrionis.
