Every Wednesday in homerooms teachers will give a vocabulary word and its definition to students. Use the word correctly in a sentence or demonstrate the word in an illustration and turn it in Thursday during lunch period for a chance to win a gift card. The best entry each week will be announced Friday and win a $10 Target gift card!
This week’s word is: Adulation [aj-uh-ley-shuh n] — (n) high praise
Congratulations to the winner, Starr Jennings (’16) who created an illustration of Queen Elizabeth (1st) with the sentence, “Queen Elizabeth (1st) was not met with much adulation.”
Juliet Fetterol (’15) was the runner-up with a sentence about the administration.
