Assistant Principal Niki Lockett came up with the idea along with Principal Johnny Bush. The inspiration behind the flags, according to Lockett, is to represent diversity of the school.
Lockett mentioned the IB program and military students from the MacDill Air Force Base as two examples of the diverse students at Robinson.
