Latin Places First at Regionals

Latin students took first place in the regional Latin forum held at Robinson Saturday, Feb. 14, beating the second place team by 140 points. In the three sub categories- academic, creative, and athletic- the team placed first, first and third, respectively.
The certamen teams, who compete in a quiz-style game with buzzers, placed first and second. The A-team, with Meagan McLaughlin (’17), Amelia Hicks (’18), Margaret Hicks (’18) and Bradley French (’18) placed first and receive an automatic spot in the state competition. Robinson’s B-team took second, with Jesse Schrader (’15), Andrew Moss (’16), Paul Slife (’17) and Cassandra Vietas (’15).
