Volleyball Falls In Five At Sickles

The Lady Knights lost another close one last night at Sickles, dropping the match in five sets. The loss marks their second of the regular season, both coming in five sets.

Robinson got off to a solid start in the first set, winning by a score of 25-12 before dropping the next one by a score of 25-23. After the Lady Knights picked up a close 25-23 victory in the third set, Sickles stormed back to win the next two sets (25-20 and 15-12)  for a comeback win.

Catia Sleet led the Lady Knights with fourteen kills while McKenna Tyson added eleven and Meghan Byrd picked up ten. Emily Draper tallied twenty-two digs in the match to lead Robinson in that category, while Rebecca Hill and Ashley Osiason tied for the team lead in assists with twenty.

The Lady Knights (2-2) next face a tough weekend with a tournament at the Academy of the Holy Names. Following the weekend tournament, Robinson will host King on Tuesday night.
