California Tacos to Go Opening on Dale Mabry
October 17, 2014
California Tacos to Go, the famous, West Coast-style taco restaurant that gained national fame after its appearance on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives,” is now opening up a second location here in the South Tampa area.
Since its appearance on live television, the original restaurant, located on Skipper Road in North Tampa, has attracted over hundreds of hungry customers from all across the United States. By opening up this new location and many more in the future, the company hopes to repeat the success that the original spot has had.
As the company continues to expand, at the same time, they also want to keep the beach-themed “taco joint” vibe strong in each and every single restaurant. The new location continues on with the beach-themed interior design, with surfboard decals and hand-painted sign.
The menu strongly embraces the “Southwest-style” genre for food with the wide variety of tacos, including the fan favorite Grouper Fish Taco. In the taco contains tempura grouper, pico, shredded cabbage, and the restaurant’s own “Juan’s” white sauce all on a soft tortilla shell, and the best part, all of this deliciousness for just under $4.
The newest California Tacos to Go, at 808 S Dale Mabry Highway just north of Henderson Boulevard, is open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
